Pura Stainless was created with a simple vision - to make a difference by responsibly manufacturing toxin-free, durable, and cost effective alternatives to bottled water and the petroleum-based (ie plastic) reusable bottles and food storage containers.

Our infant, toddler, and adult product lines are not only the safest in the world but they have won an array of global awards and accolades. In this day and age there is simply no reason to expose yourself or your little ones to toxin-laden plastics or to contribute to the massive waste problem created by bottled water.

Made of safe, food-grade stainless steel

All Pura bottles are crafted from #304, also known as 18/8, food-grade stainless steel. Known for its resistance to corrosion and staining, and antibacterial properties, it is perfectly suited for use as a beverage container. In fact, many commercial food transport, storage and preparation products are made of #304 stainless steel due to these properties. And because stainless steel does not react with acidic foods or beverages, it will not affect the flavor of your beverage.

Beware of cheap stainless steel bottles made from inferior grades of stainless steel such as #201, #202, #301, Chinese domestic #304 or bottles with an unspecified alloy. Many of the inexpensive stainless steel bottles are made from these inferior grades of stainless which typically use manganese as a substitute for nickel. These lower grades of stainless do not exhibit the corrosion resistance of #304 and have not been certified as food grade stainless. Lastly beware of bottles with a wall thickness less than 0.5mm as these bottle are much more prone to denting and puncture.

No Internal Liner

The greatest single benefit of #304 stainless steel is the simple fact that it does not require funky chemical-laden liners or internal coatings. Aluminum bottles such as Sigg, Laken, and the myriad of cheap promo products are coated with a protective liner (typically epoxy-based) due to potential toxicity and reactive issues with raw aluminum. But using such a liner defeats the entire purpose of a non-plastic bottle as you are now essentially drinking from an epoxy vessel which really isn't any better than the old school plastic bottles!

The Safest Bottles on the Planet... Non-Toxic and truly BPA-free

Pura bottles are non-toxic and truly 100% BPA-free. All bottles, components, and accessories are independently tested by a leading global testing lab and certified to have no detectable levels of Bisphenol-a (BPA), lead, phthalates or nitrosamines. Bottles that are either made from plastic or use plastic caps, sip spouts, or travel covers cannot make this claim as virtually all plastics have some level of BPA which will show up in independent testing.

All Pura products feature stainless steel lids, caps and/or infant nipple/spout collars in combination with medical grade silicone so the contents of the bottle are NEVER in contact with plastic and therefore there is zero chance of ingesting BPA or other petroleum-derived toxins.

All Pura products meet or exceed all relevant FDA requirements. Because safety is our primary concern we also meet or exceed the more stringent Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) guidelines and the European Commission Directive 2002/72/EC. We are more than happy to share our safety test reports with our customers.... just ask!
Infant & Toddler Bottles that Adapt to the Needs of your Child

We strongly feel that kid's bottles should adapt to the needs of the child, not the other way around. As a result, our patent pending Kiki infant bottles can be converted into a spill-proof toddler sippy bottle - and our toddler cup can be converted into an infant bottle just by swapping the nipple and spouts. And, if your child has a strong preference for another manufacturer's nipple or spout, our bottle will probably work with those as well.
Stainless Steel Caps on All Bottles!

Most reusable water adult bottles come with a plastic lid. But what good is a metal bottle if you're still using a plastic lid? Pura Stainless adult bottle lids feature a stainless steel plug. This means your beverage NEVER comes in contact with anything but stainless steel.

Our Kiki line features a 100% plastic free lid... the first such lid to ever be offered on the market. The total elimination of plastic means that you no longer need to worry about trace levels of BPA and/or the out-gassing of petroleum by-products when scuffed, chewed or used with warm liquids. Our #304 stainless steel collars in combination with medical grade silicone nipples and sip spouts represent a new standard in modern feeding systems. Are plastic caps, sip spouts, travel covers and infant bottle collars really worth the risk?
Sandblasted Interior Surfaces on Kiki Products

After electro-polishing the Kiki infant and toddler bottles, we take the extra step to sandblast all interior surfaces. This creates an ultra smooth surface that aids in cleaning. To our knowledge no other infant and toddler bottle manufacture takes this extra step.
One Life... One Bottle Durability

Stainless steel is much more durable than plastic, glass or aluminum bottles. Steel bottles do not shatter or crack like glass and plastic and are much more puncture resistant than aluminum. We are so confident in our bottles that we back all stainless components with a limited lifetime warranty. Cared for properly your Pura bottle will be a trusty companion for years!
100% Recyclable

One of great characteristics of #304 stainless steel is that it's 100% recyclable, so after many years of use from your Pura bottle you can take comfort in knowing your bottle can be recycled and used for other applications. Even better, our bottles are made from approximately 60% recycled steel making a Pura bottle an excellent cradle-to-cradle purchase.
Chuggable, Wide-Mouth Top

A wide-mouth adult bottle means the possibilities are wide-open. Want to chill your beverage with ice? Just drop some cubes in. Want to gulp your drink down? Not a problem. Need to clean your bottle? Just grab the brush and get to work. Want to pour in a fruit-chunk-laden smoothie? Go right ahead. Our "chuggable" wide-mouth bottle opening make all of these, and more, possible.

Our Kiki infant and toddler line also feature a wide neck as this design has been proven to support breast feeding and, when combined with the vented Pura silicone nipples and sip spouts, help prevent colic and the swallowing of air. Of course wide neck infant and toddler bottles are much easier to clean and fill than old school narrow neck bottles.
